I went in for a photofacial a couple months ago and got talked into a package of 4 treatments. I have had 3 treatments and the problems I went in for have been pretty much cleared up. Since I don't need the fourth treatment, I could have saved a little bit of cash paying for the treatments individually. I guess I should go get some more sun so I have a reason to use the 4th treatment ;).

Over the last several years I had been noticing little red veins popping up on nose and for most of that time I didn't really think much of it. I figured everybody gets these things on their noses after they hit 40 years old so it wasn't a big deal to me. Gradually though I started to notice the veins popping up on my cheeks to, I wasn't to keen on this though since it made me look like I was drinking or mad 24/7. So I finally decided to ask my dermatologist what I could do about the problem and she told me that a "pulsed-dye laser" could help get rid of the offending veins. I went ahead with a series of treatments and I am happy that I did. It costs a few hundred bucks but I think it was well worth it. Now I am no longer red in the face and my dermatologist told me that I need to wear sunblock everyday to stop them from coming back, a small price to pay.
